One of the authors says: Vocal was moved to http://sourceforge.net/projects/vovida/ It is a really interesting implementation of RFC 2543. The key architects behind VOCAL refactored the SIP stack into a project called Resiprocate, which is also on Sourceforge. You'll likely find a more active community with Resiprocate than with VOCAL. Although, I really haven't been involved with either for a few years. Resiprocate uses the most up-to-date RFCS. ---- (150) Figure 7-7; The figure 7-7 repeats step 3 and skips step four.
