'nd' must probably be 'and' [272] lower half of page; The text states that the DNS server will ignore delegation and forward queries to its forwarders. In Microsoft Knowledgebase articl e Q182227, this problem is listed as fixed in NT4 SP4. Using servers running Windows 2000 SP2 and Network Monitor, I confirmed that the DNS server correctly passes such queries to the de legated servers and does NOT blindly pass the query off to its forwarders.
