Originally developed for dial-up remote access, RADIUS is now used by virtual private network (VPN) servers, wireless access points, authenticating Ethernet switches, Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) access, and other network access types. For anyone involved in network security of any kind, this book is MUST reading. It provides an easy to undertand approach with an excellent overview of RADIUS, but goes into sufficient detail to be useful in every day work. The diagrams are particularly well done. All the way from AAA to packet types through trouble shooting common problems, it is a valuable and worthwhile read.
