UNCONFIRMED errors and comments from readers: [19] "Gem in the Rough" section, bottom of page 19; Page 19 link should be http://www.webvisionsevent.com/podcasts/2005/WV05_Alan_Knecht.mp3 {38} #3; #3 - the rolling_ball.fla example file is already 720px x 80px not 800px x 600px. (284) Step 3; Incorrect extension is used for referred file name: User is instructed to choose "building_implode.mov" downloaded from the Missing Manual website. Actual file provided is "building_implode.fla", a Flash video file, which is not the same as a .mov file. Since the lesson is about embedding a QuickTime file into the Flash timeline, it negates the intent of the tutorial. Also, in Step 2 just before, user is instructed to click "Browse", although the actual button is labeled "Choose" (indicated in the illustration at top of page 284); this could be a Mac/Windows naming convention issue, but it is apparent that screen shots were taken from Mac OSX. (310) NOTE:; This references a screen cast on Flash's prebuilt behaviours on mising manuals.com that does not exist. on the screencasts page {410} 3" down from tope (paragraph 1).; Chapter 13 file "reverse_debug.fla" is empty and specifically has no action script (which is what the tutorial is all about). I checked again today to download and still no action script {410} 3rd paragraph; file reverse_debug.fla is blank (413) 1st paragraph; example of ActionScript code reads: if (_currentframe > 1) { trace("currFrame is " + _currentframe); prevFrame(); the { at the end of the top line should be omitted (415) 3rd paragraph; "1, Select Control>Debug Movie." Debug Movie is actually a button on the Menu bar, not under the Control menu.
