Excel 2007: The Missing Manual

Confirmed errors:

(30): language change/formatting problem
in "The Tabs of the Ribbon" section, 1st graf, last sentence. change
comma between "ribbon" and "However" to a period

(32): language change/formatting problem
"The Formula Bar" section, 2nd graf. change "tying" to "typing"

(59): language change/formatting problem
1st graf. Change "You assume that when..." to "You might assume that
when.."

{60}: minor technical mistake
graf beginning "Occasionally...". change "January 2, 2007" to
"January 2, 2003"

(89): language change/formatting problem
last sentence, change "Chapter 7" to "Chapter 8".

(110): language change/formatting problem
very end of step 2: delete "[[ch5]]"

fig 4-13 caption. Revise text so it now says:

In the Find Format dialog box, Excel wonıt use any
formatting option thatıs blank or grayed out as
part of itıs search criteria. For example, here, Excel
wonıt search based on alignment. Checkboxes are
a little trickier. In some versions of Windows, it
looks like the checkbox is filled with a solid square (as with the ³Merge
cells² setting in this example). In other versions of Windows, it looks like
the checkbox is dimmed and checked at the same time.
Either way, this visual cue indicates that Excel
wonıt use the setting as part of its search.

(112): First sentence of Note is missing the word “cell”. 
It should read, “It’s possible for a single cell to contain...”

{189}: minor technical mistake
Step 2, ListNumber continue grafs. 1st graf: change "drag the
vertical" to "drag the horizontal"

(189): language change/formatting problem
fig 8-10. change last sentence to read: "The help page shown here shows
the reference for the COMBIN() function."

(230): language change/formatting problem
Xref in Tip box at top of page. Change to 236.

(268) First instruction, 2nd paragraph.  The text shows that "B2
through B12 are the student scores being analyzed."  This should be
B2 through B13.  Also, it continues "(E6 covers scores between 0
and 49, E7 covers 50 to 59, and so on)"  This should say "(E6
covers scores between 0 and 59, E7 covers 60 to 69, and so on)"

(398): language change/formatting problem
graf starting "Table styles work in like cell styles". Delete the
"in" in that phrase.

(400): language change/formatting problem
"Banded columns" bullet point. 2nd sentence should read: "Folks use
banded columns less than..."
