PDF description
The XForms technology gives you many advantages over ordinary XHTML forms. The XForms technology separates your form's data and presentation and submits your data as XML. XForms-aware applications can validate your data as you type it and can also submit your data to different servers and even store it in files. This tutorial shows you how to use Mozilla to start working with XForms.

This is an excellent, concise tutorial for developing using xforms. As a very beginner, I was able to use it to create a functioning xform. Highly recommended.

I don't have a "final copy" of the PDF, so I don't know what URL O'Reilly & Associates gave the example files. I'll email the editor and let him know about it.
I did not know about Mark Birbeck; your review is the first I've heard of him, but at such point as the Short Cut can be updated, yes, his site would be a good reference.

Hi David:
1.Can not download samples :
The requested URL /9780596550042/ was not found on this server.
2. I think that 9.99 USD it is bit too high for such a short compilation of info scattered all over the Web.
Eventually I got my Toad of Greediness under control and bought your book.
Still it has a benefit that it once more promotes XForms.
If I were you I would give a nod to Mark Birbeck, this guy deserves it...
