Here are the changes that were made for the 4/99 reprint:


(56) In section 3.8.1.2, at the last bullet, the second sentence used to read:

        It can one of three values

It now reads:

        It can be one of three values.


{56} Replaced "the local time zone of the system on which you are
     preparing the document" with "Greenwich Mean Time" along with
     an sterisk for a footnote that reads "Greenwich Mean Time is
     also known as 'Zulu', thus the value of 'Z'"


(56) Replaced "Eastern Standard Time (that's where we authors live).
     Or, in UTC format" with "To specify Eastern Standard Time"


(66) Deleted sentence beginning "Also notice that..."  Replace
   "Notwithstanding" in the next sentence with "Note that".


(226) In the imagemap sample file, replaced "circle" with "circ",
      "rectangle" with "rect" and "polygon" with "poly".


(231) In sample <map> tag, replaced "shape=circle" with "shape=circ"


(276) Replaced "browser loads" with "browser should load"


(276) Replaced "browser will prompt" with "browser should prompt"


(301) Replaced "These practice" with "This practice"


(302) Last bullet:

        "If more than two properties are set to auto, and (if) one of them is
        width, ..."

Changed to:

        "If width, margin-left and margin-right are all set to auto, the
        CSS-compliant browser will set both margin-left and margin-right to
        zero, and set width large enough to make the total equal to the width
        of the parent element."


(305) 3rd paragraph of 9.3.6.5, last sentence now reads:

      "Netscape Communicator 4.06 is now supporting three-dimensional effects."


(313)  The last sentence of the section 9.3.8.1 now reads:

        "Netscape 4 fully supports this property; Internet Explorer 4
        supports only the block and none values."

Do note that IE5, which is in beta, does fully support CSS1 and much of CSS2.

        Removed second sentence and merged para 1 with para 2.
