sentence in middle of page

There is an "a" between the words "both" & "kinds" that does not belong there. The sentence should read " . . . create both kinds of pages?" The current sentence reads: "You can create a book entirely in portrait mode without any bells and whistles, but why not take full advantage of iBooks Author, and create both a kinds of pages?"

line 3 from bottom

instruction is "Select the image, and then go to the Widget tab in the Inspector (the last icon at the top). Turn on the Title checkbox, ..." If the image is 'Inline,' the Title checkbox will not turn on, and the widget will not activate. My procedure: select the image, click to Inspector - Wrap page (3rd from left), and ensure that the image/object is Floating. Then click to the Widget tab and continue.

Note from the Author or Editor:
Revised the first sentence to read: You can turn any Floating or Anchored image into an official, numbered figure... And added the following note: You canít turn an Inline image into an official figure; when you select the image, the Title checkbox will be grayed out in the Widget Inspector. If your image absolutely must have a title, youíll need to convert it to Floating or Anchored first (see Anchors).

Last Paragraph

"For audio files, open the file in iTunes. Right-click or control-click on the file name, and choose "Create AAC Version" from the context menu." The option: "Create AAC Version" is not present on the menu.

Note from the Author or Editor:
You may need to make some changes to your iTunes Preferences to get that option. Here's a tutorial from Apple about changing those settings:

Layout Inspector / Editable on pages using this layout This check box does not appear in the inspector.

Note from the Author or Editor:
This actually isn't an error, but I've seen some confusion about this around the internet, so I'm going to go ahead and reiterate here that this option is only available when working with items on Layout pages, not normal text pages. Layout pages can be viewed by opening the Layouts menu (View->Show Layouts) and clicking any of the pages there to open it in the editing window. Layouts (aka master pages) can be a tricky concept to master. I'll think about ways to explain them better in the book.

Creating a Spread

Note that an even and odd body page (eg, page 4 and 5) will automatically form a spread when exported to the iPad, though it may not look like it in Author.
