should be

FIgure2-2 show the vantage across a
collision domain.

Note from the Author or Editor:
the sentence beginning "Figure 2-2 shows the vantage across a broadcast domain." should be changed to "Figure 2-2 shows the vantage across collision domains." This changes the text to correctly match the terminology in the figure.

Allowing Table 10-1 to split across pages is misleading and confusing for readers trying to work through the exercises. Effort should be made to keep it on one page.

Note from the Author or Editor:
It's a widow/orphan problem; he's correct that 10-1 should not be split.

The various arrows in the "R Variables" paragraph should actually be "<-" and "->", and should be formatted in fixed-width font.

Note from the Author or Editor:
In the R variables paragraph, left and right arrows are currently represented with arrow dingbats; they should be changed to the literal <- and -> values, which are what are used in r.

The penultimate paragraph on page 21 refers to "Router 1" and "Router 2" in in explaining Figure 2-4, however Figure 2-4 does not have any devices thus labelled.

Note from the Author or Editor:
In the text beginning "Figure 2-4 shows an example", change any reference to "router 1" to "the top router", and any reference to "router 2" to "the bottom router". This will fix the text without changing the image.
