"Controller tuning is to the process of finding values for these parameters that lead to the most acceptable behavior of the closed-loop system (also see Chapter 9)."

Has an extra "to". Should be

Incorrect Figured referenced.

"In Figure 1-3 (bottom) we see what happens " should be changed to In Figure 1-2 (bottom) we see what happens
