The file that is supposed to have all the sample files for all the chapters has only one file and there is no such thing as a .fm13 file as stated on the downloads page: Download all of these files: (all .zip files referenced below contain the .fp13 file)

Note from the Author or Editor:
Confirmed two issues: The download page refers to ".fp13" files. The proper file extension is ".fmp12." The download that should be a zip file of all the book's files is just a single file (the one for Ch01).

the link to the download for work files downloads an older version (or so it appears from the title): Page: LInk Text: Link address: downloads the following file: FileMakerPro12MM_missingCD

Note from the Author or Editor:
Thanks for noticing this. I've forwarded it so that the IT folks can fix the link. In the meantime, the older files should work for most of the early tutorials.

The Files links for the Chapters don't work for Chapters 9 and 10. Also, the link to download ALL the files is the same as the link for Chapter 1.

At Location 614 of 22974 the note box at the top says: field called "Modified changes" appears when you Should read: field called "Modified" changes when you

Note from the Author or Editor:
The second note on page 13 should read: If you try this on the sample People file provided on the Missing CD page, then you’ll notice that a field called “Modified" changes when you click out of the record. You’ll learn what that field is used for later.

There are no PDF files (that are referred to in the printed edition) available from the downloads. Could you please post them on to the downloads either separately or as a single file. Thanks

Note from the Author or Editor:
The errata report doesn't list a page or chapter that is missing PDFs. However, I downloaded the Chapter Three files, which I know uses a PDF and png. Those chapter files don't have the proper supporting files. The contents don't agree with either of the two sets of files I've submitted.

it says to insert pdf file that came with download - have been all through download files and the only files included in the download are fm files - there are no other files types in the download unless you open the completed exercise file and choose to export cell contents! kind of defeats the object of the exercises!

Note from the Author or Editor:
Please take the PDF from the URL below and add it to the CH 03 folder of the Missing CD.

Second paragraph under no.2

Last line above the second note should be corrected to "you must reimport the file for it to work": i,e, remove the words "the file" after "must".

Note from the Author or Editor:
The paragraph following Step 2 should read "...but you must reimport the file for it to work."

At the beginning of the text after FIGURE 7-33 The page break line (circled)..... In the picture to the left, the vertical break line is not "circled" but "squarred" or "framed". In the previous version manual (FM 12), it was "circled".
