3rd paragraph

Paragraph starts: "In Chapter 2, you learned about the shutter, a curtain that opens and closes in front of the shutter to expose it to the light..." The second occurrence of "shutter" should be "sensor". "In Chapter 2, you learned about the shutter, a curtain that opens and closes in front of the sensor to expose it to the light..."

aperatures in 4th paragraph

The rightmost/last aperature should be F22, not F32. 32 is twice 16, so if you square them, 32 is 4x larger. 22 aquared is however 2x larger than 16 squared, so 2x the aperature has 2x the area.

2nd paragraph

Second sentence of this paragraph has gone astray. Spend some time looking at their images with an eye toward both simply seeing how they make you feel but and figuring out what was done technically to create the image. Suggest: Spend some time looking at their images with an eye toward both seeing how they make you feel and figuring out what was done technically to create the image.

Warning box

The which/that dilemma seems to have led to a compromise in the form of "wthat" at the start of the Waiting for Recharge warning: "Before the flash can fire, it must charge up, a process wthat is..."

Note from the Author or Editor:
(used non-restrictive clause - which) - DCRC - S.D.
