MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional)

The MCP certification only requires passing a single exam. Depending on
the exam, you are certified as an MCP with that specialty. You can attain
multiple MCP certifications; in fact, you will attain several in the
process of earning the MCSE certification.

In the past, the MCP certification was available only for certain exams.
Microsoft has recently revised the program. You can now earn an MCP
certification by passing any current (not scheduled to be retired) exam.
The one exception is Exam 70-058, Network Essentials, which counts toward
the MCSE but does not earn an MCP certification.
