On KINDLE 3 - new version - there are no NUMBER keys with the top row moved. The top row letters are now overloaded.

I'm not sure which is any of the ALT+# shortcuts will work.

I can see from the online WEB text that the items below no longer seem to work. I did not yet buy this book but I would appreciate it if I knew the shortcuts were accurate and complete.

? Alt-Shift-1 through Alt-Shift-9. Pressing Alt-Shift plus a number will change the spacing between words and between lines of text without changing the font size. The lower numbers result in narrow spacing, the higher numbers lead to wide spacing (Figure A-2). Alt-Shift-3 is the default setting.
