The condition
if (e.MenuItem.MenuItemAOTName.ToLower() == "EPCustTableDelete")
will be always false (because "EPCustTableDelete" contains uppercase characters), won't be?

The paragraph just above Figure 7-14

The text says that the framework uses the WebLink class to generate hyperlinks.

If I look into the WebLink class in the AOT, the class documentation states that the class is obsolete!?
