Table 3-2

The reserved format prefix should have the hexadecimal notation of 0::/8 in stead of
::0/128. A /128 prefix would not allow to assign addresses out of this range.

2nd paragraph of section 3.3

In paragraph 3.3 [Prefix Notation], under "IPv6 address/prefix length", the phrase
"Consider the IPv6 prefix notation 2E78:DA53:12::/40."
should read
"Consider the IPv6 prefix notation 2E78:DA53:1200::/40."
to be compatible with the subsequent explanation, where 0x12 forms the last 8 bits of
the 40-bit prefix.

Figure 4-12 and the following paragraph.

Figure 4-12 has a note above "Target Address" which says
"Only used if it is an unreachability detection message".
The following paragraph ends with "The target address is
used only in messages that are used for unreachability
detection and DAD".

As far as I know (and examining the KAME code) the target
address is used in all Neighbor Solicitations (address
resolution, unreachability detection and duplicate address
detection). The RFCs seem to confrim this.

2nd paragraph under the bullet list

You make the remark that 'DES operates on a key length of 56 bits, 8 of which are
used for parity checking' when in fact, the length of the key is 64 bits, 8 of which
are used in parity checking (resulting in a 56 bit encryption key).

Diagram, leftmost diamond

The text in the leftmost diamond should read "metric reachable" vice "metric
unreachable". This will make the diagram correlate with the text, second paragraph
on same page, starting "Route ri is new and the metric is reachable"
