4th paragraph "serial"

The connector commonly (and incorrectly) referred to as a DB9M and DB9M are really
DE-9P, and DE-9S. The connector is a (D) series subminiature connector, (E) size
shell, (9) contacts, (P)in [male] or (S)ocket [female].

The common sizes, using standard density #20 contacts, are: DA-15, DB-25, DC-37, DD-
50, and DE-9.

Other common sizes and configurations include: DB-13W3 (size B shell, 13 #20
contacts, 3 coaxial), commonly used on Sun monitors.

errors also present on:

pp 324, paragraph 2 (DB15 should be DA-15),

pp 249 (the high density SCSI connectors are not members of the D series, although
some earlier SCSI interfaces used DB-25 and DD-50 connectors, in addition to the 50
pin AMP connector similar to those used for parallel printer interfaces.)
