Homework, extra credit

First Requested: Create a formula in cell B15 to total the September column.

First Outcome: Total of all types of items forecast to be sold in September,
# of Doodads + # of Gizmos, etc.

Second Requested: multiply (First Requested)Total in the September column
by the value in D4

Second Outcome: Product equals total of all types of items forecast to be sold
in September times the Profit per Unit of Doodads only

When copied across, the results are 3750, 4625, 4250, 7125.

It reads as though this problem wants to know the revenue forecast; if so, you
must determine profit per item type per month and then total to find the revenue
forecast per month. September: [(Doodad sales x Profit per Doodad sold = 500 x
$2.50 = $1,250) + (Gizmo sales x Profit per Gizmo sold = 250 x $3.00 = $750) +
(Sprocket sales x Profit per Sprocket sold = 300 x $1.00 = $300) + (Thingamajig
sales x Profit per Thingamajigs sold = 450 x $6.00 = $2,700)] = $5,000 September
forecast revenue.

Total forecast revenue for the period September through December = $25,600.

Just my interpretation FWIW, maybe I don't understand what it is you are trying
to forecast. :)

Bold item 2

Example for creating a template says "Select the cell range B6:H11 and press the Delete key. I'm pretty sure the range should be B6:H10. Row 11 contains the formulas.
