This sentence confuses "shutter" with "sensor".
It reads...
"In Chapter 2, you learned about the shutter, a curtain that opens and closes in front of the shutter..."
It should read...
"In Chapter 2, you learned about the shutter, a curtain that opens and closes in front of the sensor..."

The paragraph begins with "The XS uses a nine-point autofous system. You?ve already experienced the nine autofocus points in the work you?ve done in Full Auto mode.", twice mentioning nine focus points. This should be seven focus points.
