Where the book mentions dhcp and router - I still after reading 10 times am confused on the dhcp status - it does not mention to diable the routers dhcp when installing.

Seems ton then contradict bottom of page 100 that then says DHCP is configured anyway.

I find these sections unclear.

Does this mean the dhcp services is installed in both cases but not started - unless the router is found, then the server configures the settings using the router values 003 015 etc.

What I dont understand then at this stage in most cases you will have 2 devices both offering dhcp the server and router?

Should you let sbs 2008 complete its dhcp config then stop the router dhcp service next to allow clients to get adress by boot p serviced to the server only.

thanks
