Regarding Distribution group request approval settings, the two "Change" options (Change email address and Change title and description). My understanding is that selecting them means farm admin approval will be required before the change happens, and not selecting means approval will *not* be required for the change to happen and the change will occur automatically.

The tip infers that not selecting the change options denies users the ability to change the address or title and description at all.

I would think you would want to check the change options, so that approval is required and admins can approve the change and then add the original email address into AD (via EMC, e.g.) as a secondary SMTP address. So that email to the old address will not bounce.

Hope that makes sense.
