Here are the changes that were made in the 12/98 reprint:

(xiv) in the "About the CD-ROM," the second "tools.tar" changed to "tools.zip"


<7> Added paragraph #8 as follows:

    8. Modify the PATH to include the $TOOLS variable defined in 2. above.  In
    the Korn or Bourne shells this can be done by adding the following 
    statement to the user .profile script:

	PATH=$PATH:$TOOLS

    Although it is not required, you may find it useful to add $DBA to the PATH
    as well.

(Note that ".profile" should be in italics)


<8> Modified Installation Summary paragraph #1 as follows:

    1. Create directories for DBA and TOOLS, assign the DBA and TOOLS
    environment variables to them, and add $TOOLS to the user PATH.


<10> "Calculate the age of a file in days": chapter number should be 11, not 10


(14) "Replace a fine in RCS" now reads "Replace a file in RCS."


(15) Last line: added closing ")".


(26) Under "dbousers.sql," 

     "Output File: dbausers.lst" is now spelled correctly (with an "o"): 
     "Output File: dbousers.lst"


(47) Middle of the page:
	
     added the word "process" to the sentence beginning "The every5 script..."
     to read "The every5 script allows you to establish an automated process 
     that will..."


{73} Changed "archwaitSQL" to "archwait.sql" (lower case .sql).


{74} Changed "startmgr" to "startm", and "stopmgr" to "stopm".


<106> Changed "Output File: bad_cons.lis" to
	
      "Output File: bad_cons.lis, <tablename>_drop.sql,
      <tablename>_create.sql

      and

<136> Changed last sentence under "resize" to:
