Following are the changes made in the 7/99 reprint:


{37} At the bottom of the page, part of the header for
DBMS_TRANSACTION.COMMIT_FORCE read:

        [,scn IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL)];

it now reads:

        [,scn IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL]);


{39} In the middle of the page,

        ESTIMATE, NULL or DELETE

the "NULL" now reads "COMPUTE."


{40} Same change as page 39.


(48) The last line, "Oracle8.1" now reads "Oracle8.0.4."
