Here are the changes that were made for the 10/98 reprint:


{19} para. 2, line 4:  "PGP then decrypts the signature block using your 
public key" changed to "PGP then verifies the signature block using the
sender's public key"


{47} Figure 2-7:  a dotted line with a key labelled K10 was added between 
Bob and Dawn


{73} para. -2, line 2:  "Patent number 4,200,700"  changed to "Patent
number 4,200,770"


{179} code sample 1, line -6:  

    Enter the new user ID: Simson L. Garfinkel <simsong@mit.edu>

"Simson L. Garfinkel <simsong@mit.edu>" is now in constant width bold


{240} code sample 2, line 3:  "Nobody knows me"  changed to
"Nobody knows my name"  (still in constant width strikeout font.)

and line -2:  added a "2" in constant width bold, so that the line looks
like this:

    (1=I don't know. 2=No. 3=Usually. 4=Yes, always.) ? 2


{242} line -3:  changed "<simsong@mit.edu>" to "<simsong@acm.org>"


{252} code sample 1, line -3:  after "Enter pass phrase:" added 
"Nobody knows me." in constant width strikeout font.


{286-291} changed every occurrence of "pgp-public-keys@pgp.mit.edu"
to "pgp.public-keys@pgp.ai.mit.edu" (for both upper and lower case.)
