It's unclear to me how the two differ.

The first command in the example is `where', which isn't
explained until p. 150.  A forward reference would be nice.


[150]  end of first paragraph, after the two-line example;
It's mentioned that the filename gets single quotes in the
second line:  why is that?  Is is because we've supplied an
extension to the filename, or other?
