O’Reilly Media released the first edition of Information Architecture, affectionately known as “the polar bear book,” in 1998. As described here, authors Peter Morville and Louis Rosenfeld were taken by surprise by the book’s success. Through two more editions, Information Architecture has remained a perennially popular title in the O’Reilly library.

This month we’re celebrating the release of the fourth edition, with Jorge Arango on the editorial team. Over the years we’ve discovered how much this book has meant to its readers, and we’d like to give you a chance to chime in, with a contest.
