Ideas Fly Unencumbered at LinuxWorld--O'Reilly Media Alert
Open Source Gurus Head to LinuxWorld San Francisco 2007

Sebastopol, CA--From August 7 to 9, the Moscone Center in San Francisco will be buzzing with the excitement of sharing ideas and collaborating, as well as learning from open source and linux gurus such as Andrew Morton, Jeremy Allison, and Jim Zemlin.

To add to the excitement, O'Reilly Media will be present, located at booth #525. They'll be touting a wide selection of books, flyers, shortcuts, and raffle prizes, including coupons for custom t-shirts and a $500 gift certificate for O'Reilly books.

Also present at the O'Reilly booth will be authors James Stanger (LPI Linux Certification in a Nutshell, 2nd Edition), Jerry Carter (Using Samba, 3rd Edition and LDAP System Administration), and Kyle Rankin (Ubuntu Hacks, Linux Multimedia Hacks, Knoppix Hacks, and Knoppix Pocket Reference). Stanger will be signing books and answering questions on Tuesday at 11 A.M., while Carter will be available on Wednesday at 11 A.M., and Rankin on Wednesday at 1 P.M.

Keep an eye out for O'Reilly editor Andy Oram while at LinuxWorld as well. Specializing in free software and open source technologies, Oram is highly respected as a book editor and a technology information provider. He will be in the O'Reilly booth throughout the length of the conference, as well as mingling with others in the Expo Hall.

So be sure to stop by the O'Reilly booth to share ideas, meet authors and editors, win fun prizes, and purchase books at a 30 percent show discount. We look forward to seeing you there.
