Dr. Paul Powers

Bio

Dr. Paul Powers is a management psychologist whose writings and seminars have helped thousands of people--from CEOs to entry-level--find and keep jobs they love. Earlier in his career, Dr. Powers worked in psychiatric hospitals, counseled returning Vietnam veterans, and did executive recruiting. In private practice for more than fifteen years, he brings a psychological perspective to the business world. He consults to both large and small organizations on issues of hiring, personal develop- ment in the corporation, and outplacement. He also teaches college courses and "Love Your Job!" seminars and has led an "Executive Peace Corps" that worked on bringing business and management expertise to the emerging economies of Eastern Europe.
