Phil Colbert

Bio

Phil Colbert is a skilled and experienced instructor. He has taught dozens of programming courses in both academic and commercial settings over the past decade. In addition, he has more than twenty years of technical software development experience. Phil has authored three courses for the O'Reilly School of Technology: C# 1, C# 2, and C# 3. He's currently working on our C# 4 course, which will complete the C# certificate series. He holds a bachelor's degree in Physical Science with a minor in Chemistry, as well as a master's degree in Computer Science from Chico State University. When he's not developing software, consulting, or guiding the classroom, Phil enjoys playing basketball, scuba diving, fencing, and especially the company of his wife, Heather.
