Bio

Uri Laserson is an assistant professor of genetics at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, where he focuses on building scalable tools for precision immunology. Previously, he was a data scientist at Cloudera, where he worked on Python in the Hadoop ecosystem and deploying Hadoop on a wide range of problems, focusing on life sciences and health care. Uri also cofounded Good Start Genetics, a next generation diagnostics company while working towards a PhD in biomedical engineering at MIT.
