Mike Bugembe is a passionate big data evangelist, blogger, author, and executive advisor. He is motivated by helping business leaders understand the value that they can extract from the deluge of data that is being produced today. Bugembe is the Chief Analytics Officer at JustGiving.com, the world’s leading social giving company, where in a short period he has successfully transformed the organization, establishing data and analytics as the lifeblood of the company. Using his process, he was able to identify opportunities for data science, build a team and launch a social giving product, based on data science, which has raised more than £20 million pounds of donations for good causes. Bugembe was recently named one of the top digital executives in the UK by The Guardian and won the award as the leading executive in the Big Data analytics space. His work has been mentioned in the bestselling book Predictive Analytics, and he is a contributing author in the book Big Data and Predictive Analytics.
