To better understand "Reactive Programming," one must first look at the reason and motivation behind its creation. It is only from this vantage point that we can begin to see and appreciate the paradigm shift that reactive brings to modern-day computing architectures.
In this webcast, we will explore the origins behind reactive programming, what it means to business, architects, and programmers alike, as well as how to leverage this new way of reasoning about system design through code. We will start with the rationale behind reactive, and then dive deeper into real-world implementations in both Java and Scala.
