This is first and foremost a simply fun book! It takes an holistic approach to fitness from the perspective of appreciating the science and process of fitness. It is fun, but it also seriously thoughtful and contains a wealth of vast and varied aspects that will appeal to all. As the author states, 'this is a book about fitness and nutrition for the independent of spirit and irrepressibly curious.' I heartily agree. A greatly enjoy­able read. Highly recommended!
