Paragraph second from last

In the paragraph:

In Figure 5-2, simon has been merged into master before, but it and master have diverged since commit 2, and so simon is not now “fully merged” into master. It is fully merged into the upstream branch origin/master, however (see Figure 5-2).

I suppose the last sentence should say "origin/simon" instead (as of figure 5-2).

The same wording is also present in: http://chimera.labs.oreilly.com/books/1230000000561/index.html

Besides from this - a really nice book!

Kind regards,
Magnus

Note from the Author or Editor:
The suggested correction is right; I’ve fixed this in commit 56c31b0f. Thanks Magnus!

This is a copyediting/formatting error; it was correct in my production commit (tag production.1).

$ git --git-dir ~/other/.git

Should be:

Note the missing two hyphens before format-patch, and insertion of a line-wrap return-key icon indicated by [RET].

The "\+" in the section on "git add" is a formatting snafu. It was originally an asciidoc + indicating a paragraph break. Please remove "\+" and insert a new paragraph there.
