Turns out iPhoto Diet didn't get updated for iPhoto '09. Because of that, please delete the last two paragraphs of the sidebar and replace them with this:

If you have The Library That Ate Cleveland, you can take matters into your own hands. But wading through your iPhoto library and manually tossing out dupes of your photos probably isn't your idea of a good time. Fortunately, you can get technology to do it for you if you have a spare $8. Yes, for less than the price of a movie ticket, Duplicate Annihilator from Brattoo Propaganda Software promises to comb through your collection and zap those needless copies hogging up your hard drive space. You can snag the software at www.missingmanuals.com/cds.

Duplicate Annihilator methodically compares your images and detects duplicates with a set of algorithms. You can have the program slap a label on the copies or delete the duplicates as it finds them. And getting rid of all those unneeded files means a leaner and zippier iPhoto experience.

In the section that begins with "Starting in iPhoto", there is a numbered paragraph starting with '1'. Then on the next page there is a paragraph numbered '3'. It seems that step '2' is missing???

Note from the Author or Editor:
Yes, that should just be Step 1 and Step 2. No more Step 3.
