Missing / in support url On page xxi, the third sentence of the "Support Information" section reads: "To connect directly to the Microsoft Press Knowledge Base and enter a query regarding a question or issue that you may have, go to http://www.microsoft.comlearning/support/search.asp." It should read: "To connect directly to the Microsoft Press Knowledge Base and enter a query regarding a question or issue that you may have, go to http://www.microsoft.com/learning/support/search.asp."

"right" used in place of "up"
On page 11, the Usage description of the Slider Element reads:



"Move the slider to the right to increase the volume."



It should read:



"Move the slider up to increase the volume."

Category View should be Classic View On page 17, the text under the screenshot of the Control Panel is incorrect. Change: "Control Panel (Category View)" To: "Control Panel (Classic View)"

"alt" used in place of "alternate"
On page 29, the last sentence of the second paragraph under the "Art, Captions, and Callouts" heading reads:



"Provide alt text that is brief but as descriptive as possible."



It should read:



"Provide alternate text that is brief but as descriptive as possible."

Missing text There are two typographical errors in the first bullet under "Style of indexed keywords". Change: "Use gerunds (the form) rather than infinitives (the form)..." To: "Use gerunds (the -ing form) rather than infinitives (the to form)..."

English translation missing
On page 251, in the definition for "e.g." the english translastion is missing.



Change:

"e.g. Means exempli gratia. Do not use; use for example instead."



To:

"e.g. Means exempli gratia, "for example." Do not use; use for example instead.
