The intro makes the statement "Many important open source projects that origianlly
used variants of the GPL or other licensing schemes have adopted the GPL as their
license, including Python, Mozilla, and Zope."

Although they are GPL-compatible, both Python and Zope use BSD-style licenses; there
is no requirement to redistribute modified source.

Not even to page 1, and there's already some FSF lies! ;-)

11.3 Useful Built-in Emacs Functions/Regular Expressions/Basic operators

The statement "To match all filenames beginning with a through e in the shell, you would use [a-e]* or [abcde]*; in Emacs, it’s [a-e].* or [abcde].*." is not quite correct, as the shell wildcard [a-e]* also matches the empty string, whereas in Emacs [a-e].* requires at least one letter from the character class.

In some of the tables the image of the Apple Command Key Loop is displaying as text and not the image. See for example image posted in PLC-2669

The image should display the symbol ⌘ and not the text xxxMacSymxxx-v

On the nook, whenever the cursor position is supposed to be shown in an example, it does not appear. It looks like there are <span class="cursor">...</span> tags in the appropriate places, but the CSS file is missing a .cursor{...} entry so it does not show up.

For obtaining the Windows version of Ispell the ftp site gatekeeper.dec.com is no longer correct and does not contain the directory /pub/GNU... as indicated in the book.
