Now that you have an understanding of some of the characteristics of team building, how do you begin to use it on the job? One place to start is by understanding what has been done in the past to build team spirit at your workplace and how your employees feel about those efforts. Start with a little simple research:
Talk to your Human Resources department manager to find out what efforts have been made along these lines in the past. How did these efforts go over? Did the company get employee feedback on them?
Talk to your employees, and ask them what teamwork means to them.
