Want Loyalty? Get Yourself a Dog!
All too often, people in leadership positions believe their employees should be loyal just because they gave them a job and they pay them for what they do. Loyalty is something you earn, not something you are owed. You get it by providing both the basics and the extras over a long period of time. Loyalty must be earned. There’s no other way to get it.
