Don’t Compete With Yourself
Who is your prime competition? It isn’t who you are about to name. My suggestion is that to recognize and deal with your number-one competitor, look in a mirror. It is probably you!
Consider the plight of an insurance company that bought a similar company, one of its competitors. The staff in the company it purchased believed they were better at nearly everything they did and, when the new owners suggested changes, improvements, and attempts to standardize how the two companies would work together, the new company rebelled.
