The Microsoft Office Button and Menu

You no longer see the label File at the left side of a Microsoft Office program’s application window, but the Microsoft Office applications that display the new user interface still require the familiar File menu commands—New, Open, Save, Save As, Print, and others—that you use to manage documents and other files. You now display these commands by clicking the Microsoft Office Button, which is located in the upper-left corner of the application window (see Figure 2-1 earlier in this chapter).
