Summary

We have learnt a lot in this chapter about textures and lights. Specifically, we were able to understand how they work and learned how to prepare the 3D models to be enveloped by textures. We replaced the textures used to envelope different 3D models and we took advantage of Expression Blend to interact with different kinds of lights in a 3D scene. We also understood the possibilities offered by textures and lights to create amazing effects.

Now that we've learnt how to use textures and how to work with many different kinds of lights, we're ready to animate 3D characters, which is the topic of the next chapter.
