Summary

We learnt a lot in this chapter about controlling statistics and scoring. Specifically, we were able to use Expression Blend to embed special fonts and show them in text gauges. We combined many controls to create complex gauges that display information using graphics. We were able to update the gauges from the main game class. We also learned how to create and add many gauges to an existing game, controlling their layout.

Now that we've learnt to control statistics and scoring, we're ready to add environments and scenarios, which is the topic of the next chapter.
