In most good 3D video games, it’s all about the weapons. How many you have, what kind, and how much damage they can do. In this section we are going to use 3ds Max to create a weapon that we can use over and over in our games: a missile. The missile itself is made from only a few basic shapes that we will manipulate and combine in order to get our final image. Although there are only a few shapes used in this image, working in the 3ds environment can be a little tricky, especially if you are new to the program, so follow each instruction carefully and make sure not to skip any steps.
