Exporting the Missile

We now need to convert the missile into a format that Blitz3D can understand. In this case, we’ll export it to the .3ds format.

  1. Resize, rotate, and reposition the missile to be in the middle of the grid, as shown in Figure 10.27. Remember from earlier that Blitz3D will remember the size, location, and direction of your objects when they are imported, so take the time to get them into their final position before exporting.

  2. Click File > Export. The Select File to Export dialog box will appear.
