9. Preparing 3D Models for Printing

Now that you’ve had some experience creating 3D models, what do you need to be aware of before printing them on your 3D printer? This chapter covers a number of things to ensure your model has the best chance for being printed on a typical desktop 3D printer successfully. Because all 3D printers are a little different from one another, bear in mind these tips might not apply to your specific machine, but they are provided as general information for the current, most common models on the market at the time of this book.
