ESCRIPTION An “icebreaker” that can be used at the beginning of a
course, this is particularly suited to participants who
have never met before.
OBJECTIVES By the end of this activity, participants will:
• Have had a dialogue with at least one other course
member.
• Have spoken at least once in front of the whole
group.
• Have reflected on issues that may affect how they
feel about being at the course.
• Have had the value of their own feelings about the
course acknowledged.
• Be reasonably relaxed.
PARTICIPANTS • Up to 20 participants
• Suitable for any type, but the activity works best
