ESCRIPTION This is a simple activity to be used at the end of any
course involving the development of interpersonal
skills. It considers an often-overlooked issue for
course participants—that of going back to work after
the very different experience of training. It seeks to
help people avoid the “dilution” effect whereby the
course, and all the learning it may have produced, can
rapidly fade into oblivion.
OBJECTIVES By the end of this activity, participants will:
• Have considered what will confront them on return
from the training event.
• Have a strategy for implementing at least one
