44. FOCUS BRACKETING
IN SOME PHOTOGRAPHIC situations, it’s impossible to capture your subject with sharp focus entirely from front to back, even with the smallest of aperture openings. Focus Bracketing, sometimes called Focus Stacking, is a technique that involves taking a series of photos to create a composite image. Each shot is focused at a different distance, so when the sharp areas of all the photos are combined, a totally sharp photograph from front to back will be the result. While this can be done by manually by refocusing the lens with each photo, the process is much easier with an automated Focus Bracketing feature.
