Abstract
This chapter provides a detailed description of the security architecture, technologies and processes in the 5GS. Security has become a crucial issue in every communication network as the number, type and capabilities of attackers have increased over the years. In order to effectively manage the complexity of different security features of 5GS, it is often split into various subdomains—network access, network domain, user domain, application domain and SBA domain security.
